Bapchild and Tonge

CE Primary School and Nursery

Rooted in God as our vine; we bear fruits.

SEND and Inclusion

Welcome to the Inclusion area. We are an inclusive school, who welcome children with many different needs and abilities. We work hard to offer learning environments in which all children can succeed as well as making provision where needed for more personalised support. We have a dedicated webpage for families seeking advice, guidance and support for speech and language here: Speech and Language - Bapchild and Tonge Church of England Primary School (secure-primarysite.net)

The school Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) policy has been written in light of the Code of Practice that came into force on 1st September 2014. The Code of Practice can be found on the web at

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/send-code-of-practice-0-to-25

Information about the Local Authority's Local Offer can be found on the Kent County Council website. A link is provided below:

Below is a link to our SEND Policy and Information Report which outlines our practice and gives up to date information about provision in our school. This was updated in October 2022 after taking parent feedback and developing some of the sections as a result.
