Poetry - Michael Rosen
In English we have been reading and reciting poems written by Michael Rosen. We have read 'chocolate cake', 'fast food', 'down behind the dustbin' and 'hot dogs forever.' We have read and performed 'Hot dogs forever' in pairs. we tried to perform them in the style of Michael Rosen.
In Year 2 we are reading ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’
We have been writing letters and postcards in class. We then read the book ‘The Day the Crayons came Home’ we have had great fun reading theses stories.
Unfortunately for Year 2 on Wednesday 3rd October their chairs in the classroom quit. The children loved this and found it extremely funny! Thankfully the chairs returned!
The children will be writing newspaper reports about this event.
