Operation Christmas
UPDATE!!
Mrs Butcher delivered 27 shoeboxes to a church in Maidstone. 4 more boxes were also sent individually from parents. This is at least 5 more boxes than we delivered last year! This is an amazing result, so many thanks to everyone who donated, especially to the Fellowship of Friends for supporting the charity and encouraging other to support it! Well done Bapchild!
"Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse. It is a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, personal care items, school supplies, and fun gifts.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations."
On Monday 21st October, Bapchild's Fellowship of the Friends will be leading a worship to encourage our local community to get involved and donate shoeboxes to this amazing cause. They will lead the worship describing the impact a shoebox can have on a child's life. To find out more information on how to donate please follow the link below!
