  • O2 Young Voice !

    Thu 06 Feb 2020
Almost 12 hours after we set off to the O2 Young Voices on Thursday 6th February, we arrived back at school tired but elated. At over 15 hours, it was certainly one of the longest school days for the children but an amazing experience that they will certainly remember. After hours of practice over the last 6 months, twenty-two year 3 to year 6’s donned their Young Voices T-shirts and sang and danced their little hearts out to a medley of funky and catchy tunes. After the coach journey up, and a quick photo outside the amazing O2 Arena, the group settled into their seats to rehearse with the band. The children rehearsed with professional singers and celebrities to hone their singing and dancing skills. After a short tea break, the children were ready to welcome their parents and families to sing and perform with the likes of Tony Hadley. Our twenty-two children and the other eight thousand children and staff did amazingly well and the audience gave them a standing ovation. It was a really special event enjoyed by all and we were so incredibly proud of them all. Check out the amazing pictures!
